I know this is an old post, but it really helped me as an intuitive parent. I'm so hungry for information on good suggestions for help in parenting. Often those things I "know" for other adults, I have to be reminded of are also good for kids.

(I also loved your interview with Slade, as I have been a big Slade fan for several years now.)

Thanks. I look forward to reading more of your blog!

Hi Slade,

I think one of the coolest things that happens is the allowing of 'small' but 'deep' parts of ourselves to the surface...even more affirming is when these parts hit an unexpected cord with others :)

Paula,

Thanks for adopting, using, spreading, and sharing my concept of a "god posse."

For so many years, this was a private, "silly little" phrase that I used by myself (or once in awhile with close friends). It was a pleasant shock to see it move outside me -- like I've been awarded some addition to a dictionary or something, you know?

Wow, what a compliment!
