I agree that the will, delight and desire to learn must be there or else not much of anything useful is achieved. I think, like most everything in this universe it boils down to intent. If our intent is there, than it opens a new avenue of change that affects us and therefore changes our perception of the world around us. The word alchemical is a perfect description of this process!

I get this feeling of wonder whenever I am able to learn something new. i’ve realized, by observing myself and others, that learning is utterly useless unless one wants to lear and is willing to change one’s perceptions. In this sense it feels almost like an alchemical process.
