Hi Andrea!
I liked the dance analogy because there is a strong correlation. You know when I'm dancing, if I'm trying too hard to look like I know what I am doing...I simply don't have that much fun, but when I let go and allow myself to be a conduit for the energy of the music...it is an absolute blast! I think that interacting with our Higher Selves is very similar. The trick in both scenarios lies in forgetting yourself for a time :)

I'm glad you stopped by to add your insightful comments. The (where are we going) part reminds me of taking a long trip with children. And the (are we there yet, where are we going, when are we gonna be there) questions that always accompany that kind of drive. Our minds are lot like children as well!

Love and light,

Dancing with the Higher Self - I love it!!! What a great way of coming into relationship with our Higher Self aspect. It's true that the letting go is the hardest and most rewarding aspect - when our mind stops asking all those questions (where are we going, why are we going there, what will I get out of it?) and just becomes the observant co-pilot, instead of insisting on being in charge.

Blessings,
Andrea
