On this page I answer many of the frequently asked questions I receive about the Higher Self.

Why Would I Want to Connect with My Higher Self?

When we are in connection with our Higher Selves we receive more information about our world and how we are interacting with it, specifically, we see more of what our Soul’s are working on, realize that we have a choice about how we receive our learnings and start working with, rather than against this process. Seeing life from a learning perspective makes every experience positive as we start to become empowered and make the choice to learn through Light rather than pain.  Looking at the world through the eyes of our Higher Selves has some very specific advantages.

Such as a deeper sense of:

• Safety
• Well-Being
• Health
• Fulfillment
• Confidence
• Companionship
• Wisdom and
• Purpose

When we start to know ourselves on this level it becomes very hard for us to feel small and vulnerable on the inside.  The vastness of our eternal aspect can not be denied, our troubles become manageable from this perspective and we develop a strong, difficult to shake, core of peace in our the center of our beings that gives us a calm and positive way of viewing our experiences.

This is a relationship that introduces us to our own potential for good as well as our connections to the divine energy streams of Love, Light, Truth, Healing, Abundance & Power…creating a self-image of inclusion rather than exclusion from – the Divine.

In gentleness and awe our own innate goodness flows into our world and the world of those around us as we embody our Higher Self’s attitudes and perspectives…you are still you; only more safe, fulfilled, wise and empowered.

Who is my Higher Self?

Your Higher Self is the Source Consciousness of your Soul. It is a sacred Guardian of Light and keeper of the wisdom you’ve acquired throughout your many lifetimes. As such it is a culmination of all your Soul’s learnings, a mentor that can teach you to embody and actively channel the energies your Soul creatively expresses. Your Higher Self is who you are without the limitations of a physical body, and seeks a relationship with you to teach you how to transcend those limitations, free your mind and with it, your Soul…

Our Soul’s long to play here on the physical plane but they need our help to do it.

Where is my Higher Self?

Your Higher Self resides in the Chakras outside of your physical body that connect you to Source energy. It is your Source consciousness manifest in the 3rd dimensional physical plane, hard-wired directly into Source and also into you.  When your connections are open, it travels through your energy body and Chakra system, helping you to manifest a life of love and light, right here on earth.

How do I connect to my Higher Self?

We connect to our Higher Selves through our conscious minds. Our conscious mind controls the gates to both our unconscious and our Higher Self or Superconscious. It is our conscious mind that decides what gets in and what does not. Most of us do not exercise much control over our conscious mind and that is why we can not hear our inner guidance or truly create what we want of our lives. In order to hear our Higher Selves we must choose it, put our attention toward it, hold that space around it, and direct our conscious mind to open our gates to the Divine.

In simple terms this means:

• Learn to quiet our minds
• Hold our attention in one place
• Create empty space within ourselves
• Shift our energetic resonance to match our Higher Self’s vibration and
• Allow ourselves to receive

This requires that we develop a sense of who our Higher Self is so that we can enter into a trusting relationship with our own divinity and it really helps to know what our Higher Self looks like and have a sense of their personality and mission to get started.
